Ron's Story

I went in the US ARMY at 17yrs old and went to Vietnam in 1971. I got out of the Army in 1974 for 8 months then went back in in Oct 1974 and was stationed in Germany twice, West Point, Chicago Recruiting Command, Fort Leonard Wood and Finally Fort Riley Kansas where I then went to the Gulf War in 1990-91 then I retired in 1991 and come back home to St. Louis Mo. where I went to work for the Post office in 1993 until 2006 when...Expand for more
The Veterans Dept. Put me out on Disability for Various things but major reason is my Lungs. Everyday above ground is a good day. I manage pretty good. I was married for just shy of 27 yrs, but she left me for the exciting life of a meat cutter...LOL in 1998. Life is hard and then you die I guess. Not much more that I really care about other than my 2 son's and one is here with me and the other is in the Airforce doing great.
