Ron's Story
Nov 9, 2017. I am a widower now. I am lucky to live around my sons. Have been off work for the last 7 months. Good to rest.
May take one more contract engineering position in LA? Don't know for sure.

School
gosh, I graduated!! Sometimes I thought that was in doubt. I have good feelings about high-school, it was a good, good time! Wish I could go back :)
College
It was a pretty long road. Lots of good times of course. Then I finally figured out why I was there and started to take a little more mature approach. I finally finished OSU in Jan. 1968, and then went to San Jose State University in Calif. I graduated there in June, 1970 with an MSME degree. The MS was just work; the BS had a whole lotta fun mixed in.
Workplace
I have been a contract (temp) engineer, with the exception of about 3 years; this has been a great deal of fun! I have been in two industries: engineering and...Expand for more
restaurant business (owner/operator of French Quarter restaurant for 8 years). I have worked in all kinds of industries (aircraft, missles, submarines, aircraft-carriers, big trucks, consumer products, satellites, computer pheriperals, etc). To date, I have held 51 jobs!! Ha, no, that is true. And, maybe I'll have another one or two ! But just one or two !
Update May 15-2011: I am working in New Orleans, LA. The weather is beautiful here; more like Calif than Louisiana....the global warming has turned this into a drought area....no rain since I have been here (one month). Going to get an apt in FQ or Garden district......many fun areas of this city. They just opened the Atchafalya basin flood gates yesterday and hopefully it won't flood again here. Looking forward to the 50th reunion.....should be fun !
Update: Going to work in Houston, Tx in Sept, 2013,,,,short job, 4 months or so.
