Ron's Story

Attended freshman year at Edwardsville High. My father was transferred to Roanoke and I spent soph - sr years there. Graduated in '88 and attended George Mason in Fairfax, VA. Had a lot of fun -- too much fun. I think I am officially the only person to get kicked out of college without ever being drunk! By that time my parents had moved to Atlanta, so I tucked-tail and headed down to Dixie. Took a year off to work in the real world -- and immediately decided I wanted no part of it. I attended Southern Polytechnic State University '91-'94 and this time graduated with a BS in CS (with honors, if you can believe that!) By my senior year, I was working in the University's IT department . Lucky for me, my boss quit just as I was graduating. Since I was the only one with the passwords, they gave me a job. tions, whatever that means. At Cave Spring, I dated Kimberly Glass. I made the big mistake of letting her go. She got married. Ugh! Over the next 10 or so years, we stayed in touch. One day, she called me saying she was getting divorced. I had just bought my first house and had lots of empty space, so I invited her to stay at my place until she could get on with her life. She moved in in June of '99. We were married 1 month later! :) We are still happily married and are best friends. We do not have children and do not plan to have any. No pets (what I'm not allergic to, she is). Kimberly is working for a local pharmaceutical firm. She is working on a Master's in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs at UGA and I am working on my Master's in Software Engineering. We miss you all!
