Ron Thompson:  

a year in Nacogdoches (not counting college). I spent a lot of time in Kaufman, Texas and went to that High School for Driver’s Ed. Best deed: saved a boy’s life and he went on to save his brother’s life. Worst deed: don’t ask … you don’t want to know anyway (this ain’t Jerry Springer). I love my wife, my job, movies, music and computer graphics. I have about 5 chronic and incurable diseases and have had for many years; none (apparently) are life threatening. I have never went to bed once in my life not knowing that I was loved. Thanks mom and dad! I had the privilege of holding my father’s hand as he passed-away recently. Mom died in ’98. My mother’s last words to me were “Goodnight sugar.” I wrote a short story about it and published it on the Internet. It is appropriately titled: “Goodnight Sugar”. Tricia has been a beautiful companion and still tells me that I am handsome (she lies a little, but she has many redeeming qualities). May the Force be with you! Ron
