Ron's Story
Life
I am married to Patricia (for just under 30 years). We have two children. I am the marketing director for a Dallas firm and we live in Richardson.
I have had many jobs & professions, here are a few:
Farm worker
Body Guard
Musician/Vocalist
Composer
Dish Washer
Drug Store Manager
Video producer/director
Computer Programmer
Salesman
Orderly in the County Mental Ward
Commercial Artist
Teacher (Maritime Law, Judo, Arts & Crafts)
Firefighter
Security Guard
Â
and thatÂs not the whole list. Sounds made up, but itÂs all too true.
Most educational job was in the mental ward; most sensational Âsounding job was producing and co-directing music videos for TV or playing guitar for J. Frank Wilson (Gold record for ÂLast KissÂ); best paying was as a vice president of a transportation company; Most fun was composing music; most boring was commercial artist.
I have also lived in Arizona, New Jersey (military), Virginia (military), with short stints in New Orleans and about ...Expand for more
a year in Nacogdoches (not counting college). I spent a lot of time in Kaufman, Texas and went to that High School for DriverÂs Ed.
Best deed: saved a boyÂs life and he went on to save his brotherÂs life.
Worst deed: donÂt ask Â
you donÂt want to know anyway (this ainÂt Jerry Springer).
I love my wife, my job, movies, music and computer graphics. I have about 5 chronic and incurable diseases and have had for many years; none (apparently) are life threatening.
I have never went to bed once in my life not knowing that I was loved. Thanks mom and dad! I had the privilege of holding my fatherÂs hand as he passed-away recently. Mom died in Â98. My motherÂs last words to me were ÂGoodnight sugar. I wrote a short story about it and published it on the Internet. It is appropriately titled: ÂGoodnight SugarÂ.
Tricia has been a beautiful companion and still tells me that I am handsome (she lies a little, but she has many redeeming qualities).
May the Force be with you!
