Ronald's Story
Really since high school I've changed leaps and bounds, honestly few would recognize the person I am now compared to who I was back then. Back in the day I was the silent, not really care about school so read constantly and floated my way through high school. Now I am this loud, outspoken person who seems to not only be the life of most parties, but usually attracts the most attention when in a large group of people.
So yeah after high school.....
Hehe a bit of trouble with life and the law after/during high school, but really grew up alot through those life changing interactions.
Anyways, then did quite a few years of working this or that job, from working at a book bindery, to industrial plastic fabrication with rotary molds, to cooking in a resturaunt, to even being a manager at a smoothie store.
A short stint of college in the late 90's which rather fell short, I really wasn't ready for the focus and drive that was required for college. Then around 2004 or so I decided that I really needed to get out and explore the world, find myself a career and run for it.
In turn I ended up attending the A...Expand for more
rt Institute of California: San Francisco, for Game Art and Design. Currently as of the end of 2008 I have six classes left to attend before graduation, though I plan on stretching that out through the next six months in order to have a solid portfolio to present to potential employers.
Eventually I like to move back to Minnesota. I love the overall experience of living there, not overly happy about the freezing cold weather in the winter, but really thats what heated garages are for. Though since there are not really any game companies within Minnesota (there are like 2 and in my opinion they kinda suck) I guess I may have to create my own production company and get together a production team back home. Otherwise I guess when I have paid off all my college bills I can save up and move back there. Otherwise I shall just have to get my yearly dose of home through my one week a year visit with my family.
Otherwise, hey anyone who remembers me in school drop a line it cant hurt. We have all experienced much since graduating high school, and really never hurts to have another friend in life.
