Ronald's Story
Life
Retired as a Captain of the Winnipeg Fire Department . Started a stained glass company called Heirloom Lamps and Panels and still working at it . I have a cabin at Whitemud Falls along the Winnipeg River . The name of my Border Collie is King . Would like to hear from former school mates . Contact me and lets get back together . I have donated stained glass lamps and windows to the Childrens Wish Foundation for many years now . I enjoy the work , and keeps me occupied during the winter months. Then...Expand for more
in the Spring , Summer and Fall , I work at Northern Blower . I have worked there for 41 years now. I usually win the best Industrial Grounds trophy , in the Take Pride in Winnnipeg competion 3 years out of every four years. One cannot win 4 times in a row , one must sit out that year. So , in that year , I transplant perennials, add more Spring bulbs and enjoy watching them grow . The company has received many phone calls and letters , saying how nice their grounds look when travel by in the bus .
