OLD RAILROADER'S NEVER DIE, THEY JUST LOSE THEIR TRAIN OF THOUGHT. Started working for Pennsylvania Railroad in Melvindale in 1965 (clerk) since then there has been two mergers (Penn Central and Conrail) and was the Freight Agent for the Toledo Lakefront Dock and Railroad Terminal Co. The first time I went to Brigg's Stadium (1953) to see the Tigers. The grass was so green and the smell of hot dogs and cigarettes.
Things I wished I had known when I was in School. Turns out both sides of my family go way back. My mothers side were Pilgrims, came to Plymouth in 1623 and my dads side came to Jamestown in 1622. Been evolved in nearly all America's history from then on.
