Ronald's Story

Life Since graduation I attended El Camino for one semester. I quit there to go into the military. Twenty one years, two months and twenty two days later, I retired. During my military years, I was in the medical field. Most of it was in the emergency room until I was sent to Independent Duty School. It was a crash Physisician Assistant Course. I spent nine years doing that. I retired as the Superintendent of Nursing Services at a base in Massachussetts. I have been married three times, first to my high school sweetheart Sherry Stone. We were married for almost twelve years when she passed away following an accident. We had two children. A boy who is named after me and a daughter, Lisa Marie. I married a girl from Indiana and adopted her two children, Edward Rae and Marcy Jo. We were married just short of thirteen years when we got divorced. I married again eight years later to a lady from California. She has two children who are out on their own. Following retirement, I went into the automobile business for ten years. After the divorce I moved back to California and currently live in Riverside. I work for a parcel deliv...Expand for more
ery service in Irvine. I am a dropbox guru and facility supervisor with that firm. Prior to that I was the Assistant Manager of a Mobile Home Park. I have three beautiful granddaughters, three great granddaughters and one great grandson. Lately, If I'm not at work, we are out on our Gold Wing riding to God knows where. I was medically retired in 2006 after a doctor botched an abdominal surgery and it resulted in six more surgeries to straighten out the mess that she made. We now have a camping trailer and go camping when we can. School Regretted not participating in more sports and school activities. Definitely needed to study a lot harder than I did. I don't know how the teachers put up with me. College El Camino reminded me of a high school with ash trays. The CCAF was a combination of schools that I attended and actual work experience. Military Would not trade the experiences that I had while on active duty. Traveled the world and saw many new cultures. Really made me thankful for all that we have in the USA. Really learned a lot about other cultures once you remembered that you were the foreigner in their country.
