Walker, Sgt Friddle,Ramsey, Rouse,Ferenz, Loper, Calnan, Richards, Irwin (and his Hermits--Benge,johnson,Pitchford,Rousso and Pallaske) and many others. Sadly, I later learned that Sgt. Friddle was killed in Vietnam in 1966 and I later saw his name on The Wall in D. C. in 2004 during a reunion of G 2/5.
In Sept., 1966 I was transferred to 1st Platoon, Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines and shipped out for Vietnam in Jan., 1966 and served with G 2/5 in Chu Lai. Returned to El Toro, Calif. in Aug., 1966 for processing for discharge. Many of the guys I served with made contact with each other about 4 years ago and we e-mail each other daily and have gotten together 3 times.
