Ronald's Story
Graduated 57 . Navy 57-59. Was jet machanic in Navy, when I got out I thought I could into Chicago at O'hare and get on with a commercial airline. No way- said I had to go to their school to unlearn the bad habits I learned in military. I think we were years ahead of them, and besides I didn't want school. Went to construction as cement finisher for a Pool company in Naperville. Got married in 62 and have had three wonderful children that have given us 8 wonderful grandchildren, and now have 2 beautiful grand babies. Moved to Wis in 69 and went to work for a Renault dealer. After working at several dealers I started my own body shop in 73. Had body shop until 87 and closed up due to health issues. I have celebrated 53 years together, and would do everything all over again if that were possible. We now live in Montello Wis. and are in a wooded area that has all manner of wildlife that visit our back yard. We have had as many as 15 deer in our back woods (yard) that we could see. Im sure many more were there, but could not be seen. Turkeys as many as 35 at a time. Coon - possum - every different squirrel, even had a flying squirrel, birds - some I haven't ever seen before - pine martins - fox with her kits - so we spend a lot of time on the back deck wild animal watching now. Would like to hear from any of you.....
Update we now have 3 great grand babies, with a forth on the way. Newest GGrandbaby lives in Bemidjji Mn. Thank god for FaceTime and Skype, or I still wouldn't have seen her.
