Life
Came to Sandy Springs High School during my senior year, to graduate with the class of 1962. I had previously attended Cross Keys High School (my classmates and I were the first class to attend the school when it was new in 1958), but I had to leave all of my friends behind when my parents made the decision to move to Sandy Springs during the summer of 1961. During my one year at Sandy Springs High, I was actively involved with Mr. Cole's orchestra and marching band (I was also in the Cross Keys marching band). he US Naval Academy, graduating in 1967. I spent 22+ years on active duty (traveling all over the US and the world), retiring from active duty in 1989. I settled down in Charleston, SC working as a government contractor, but came back to Atlanta in 1996 after the Naval base and shipyard closed down leaving 18,000 looking for work. Now work in the telecommunications industry. Married in 1974 (have a beautiful 18-year old daughter), but the marriage ended in 2000. Currently going through a nasty divorce, but staying sane through traveling a lot. Recently moved to Coudersport, PA to work at our corporate headquarters.
