Ronald's Story
FROM HEAVEN TO HELL BACK TO EARTH, That's my story.
After hs, I grew my hair long, tune in, turn on and dropped out. I've lived in the Santa Cruz Mountains, from late 69 to 78. Let's just say my experiences where quite colorful and chaotic. Then I moved to L.A. and join a mind control cult. That lasted for a couple of years. It's not a good idea to give your hard earn money and then be totally submissive. In late 1980, after leaving that, I've attempted to be a Yuppie and moved back into the valley. I guess I just had too much heart to pursue that lifestyle. My drinking and using increased, until Nov. 5th 1991. On my 41st b-day I gave myself a wonderful give, soberiety. This coming Nov, it will be 18 years clean and sober. But there more hell. I've had an emotional breakdown in the mid-nineties. I am still on disability for depression and avoid-personality disorder. During the late nineties to 200...Expand for more
1, I've move to Oroville California to care for parents. They are both gone none.I've hated Oroville, but with a limited disability income, it's cheap to live there. Hell again, So I've picked up an additional addiction, gambling. Then I've had a golden opportunity; to move to southern Oregon. What a healthy choice that was. I been clean of gambling for one year. Now the earth part. I am doing lots of service work with 12-steps, NAMI, DBSA and health care reform. I am a member of the local Unitarian Universalist fellowship. That's a wonderful church that fits my spiritual world views. I also do service work with them to. This is my home, my niche, my calling : )
In summary, I am more grounded (earth), no chemical or other addictive highs (heaven) nor crashing lows with it's chaos(hell.) Medford Oregon is my Earth. rhs
Walking my dog. Southern Oregon has scenic, natural walking paths. Very serene.
