Life
Married in 1972.One son.Husband and I are retired to Lubec,Maine.College major: archeology,anthropology.Interests: marine biology,Native American cultures,natural medicine.Live in a 135 year old farmhouse on the Bay of Fundy.Two miles down my road is the easternmost point in the U.S.My son,Noah,lives in Glens Falls,N.Y. and has his own business,rustic furniture and Native American weaponry.My husband is a retired college professor-radio and television.I am now studying natural medicine and healing. looks like we won.At risk was the pristine beauty and clean oceans,from which a huge percentage of the world's seafood is harvested (Bay of Fundy).A company from Tulsa,with ties to Dick Cheney,was pushing hard.They would have put the facility on Possamaquoddy tribal land(outrageous)Fighting the federal government is never easy,especially when it comes to oil. But now we can all breathe a little easier-literally!Needless to say,the battle is never over when it comes to the envirenment,but I'll keep up the fight to the death,so to speak.What is everyone else fighting against,my classmates?
