Hello fellow Cougars! Boy, things have really changed since my last update! We still live in McCalla, AL but that is about all that has stayed the same:>) Ronnie¿s sister Bobbie passed away March 4, 2005. That is still so hard to believe. She was like a sister to me since Ronnie and I started dating at 14. She left us the house in Tally but we rarely have time for a visit. Ronnie¿s nephew, Craig, now lives there. Ronnie is still an Account Manager with Interstate Brands (Merita/Wonder Bread). We have what amounts to a new baby now; we opened a restaurant, Cook¿s Bar B Que. It opened last May 12th in Newton, MS just west of Meridian. It is a family venture. Our oldest son Ron runs it (practically lives there!). Ronnie and I, or at least Ronnie, go over almost every weekend and try to help out. Well, at least we eat well on the weekend! It is so much fun getting to know the local people. It is a very close-knit community and everyone is so friendly. We have the best customers anyone could wish for! We had purchased a new fifth wheel a couple of years ago and spent most weekends camping. Now since opening the restaurant we rented a lot to put it so we have our own place to stay with all of the comforts of home. The grandkids have a ball there!
