Ronnie's Story
Life
After graduation signed up with the 101st Airborne Division for three years. Loved it. Well worth it. Came back home and married a girl from Michigan. We had 3 wonderful children... Ron Jr. graduated from Memorial in 99 and has just finished Basic Training in the Army, Teri who has her b/f and Marty Kennedy Yoder, named after my best friend at Central and our fellow classmate who died in 1982 while riding his bike in Waco, Tx. My Marty is a Jr. this year at Memorial. I got struck down with Parkinsons Disease in the mid 80's. That ended my 20 year stint with Skyline Corp as a draftsman/CAD operator and programmer. so brought the end of my 21 year marriage. I am single now and still fighting off the disease... and winning by the way! I've grown alot since high school (havnt we all) and finally came out of my shell. Helping with kid's Scouts and Little League helped me there. And finally chess... I've almost reached all my goals there. I have 2 state titles and several local... was member of 2nd place finisher in U.S. Amt. Team Championship '01 and top 10 finisher in US game 20 Championship. Thats about it. I have one more chapter to write but I dont know who the star will be yet. She'll be coming into my life some day when I least expect it.
