Ronny's Story
Hello Friends of Wicomico, and Bennett High.
I graduated from WIHI in 1966, but it was the first graduating class of Bennett also. The class of 66, both schools, were together at Wicomico Junior High. So we have friends at both schools to keep in touch with.
I live in Salisbury, and work as a Co-Manager at the Super Fresh Grocery store. I have been divorced so long, I hardly remember being married. I do have a daughter and two grand kids who remind me that I was. As the aging process takes place, we become more aware that we are not as immortal as we once though. The little aches and pains each raising day as we disengage from the comfort of our bed to face the challenge of life. I onced open the newspaper to read the front ,comics and sports pages. to see if I know anyone, or who else did not survive our age group. I have been lucky, I take no medication, and can not even remember my last cold. Must be good genes, or a very forgiving Lord.
I signed up for Classmates to see where old friends and people I had a fondness are in this stage of life. For reasons unexplained, I have never attended a class reunion in my 42 years since I left WIHI. But lately have though about old friends and people I knew of in the past, though we may not of been friends. Anyone wishing to drop a line in cyber space, do so, don't be shy. After all, we should have out grown that by now with all of life's bumps and bruises. Until we meet in cyber space, smile it makes everyone wonder what you are up to.
