Life Rory "Shane" Riggs is an award winning writer with more than two decades professional experience in his craft. His credentials include the versatility to write both fiction and non-fiction, from news to theatre pieces and to do so with an ability to entertain, enlighten, or inform. Within two years of moving to Northeast Ohio in 1987, Shane was offered his own radio call-in show. During that time he was host to local and national celebrity guests including Marie Osmond, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Florence Henderson, David Copperfield, Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees (while Timmons was still in high school), Ronnie McDowell, Patty Loveless, Doug Stone, Irlene Mandrell, and even a a "pre-Regis" Kelly Ripa. While working in all facets of the media, Shane has been a news anchor, reporter, on air personality, staff writer, news director, talk show host, photojournalist, correspondent, news editor and managing editor. He has worked for newspapers and magazines, radio and television stations,public relations firms and one non-profit organization.
