Rosa's Story

Life Well, life certainly did not turn out the way I thought it would. My life plan was to join the army (I was in the Delayed Entry Program which i served almost a year with the national guard during my senior year.) Right after graduation I was in a car wreck that took away any chance of a military career. Adam Sears (for those of you who remember my boyfriend in those days) and I were married in 1996. Since then, we have had three great kids. He is in the army so we live at Fort Hood, TX right now. He is going to Korea for 18 months and I will stay here to take some college courses. He has decided to make a career out of the Army so who knows where he will take us in a couple of years. Things are scary right now with him leaving but he knows his job well. What can I say about those times. LOL I was mostly into Journalism and ROTC. I dated Adam Sears off and on (we are now married). My senior year I was pregnant with my oldest son who will be 8 soon. I can believe how fast time goes by. It is almost scary. I had a blast in high school and sometimes wish I could go back. Things were so much easier then even though they didnt seem like it at the time. Hope you enjoy your trip down memory lane. If you remember me let me know. feel free to email me. I am getting ready to start schooling to become a trama nurse. I know I will love it and will be able to stick with it. No matter where I move to (we move often with my husband in the army) I will always be able to find some work. Right now, that is my problem.
