Hi,
For those of you, checking in to see where I have been:after graduation I went to work for Acushnet Process)Golf Ball Div.)steno pool)Took shorthand all morning and typed all aft.Where were the computers then?
I married the sailor in 59 and had our first son in 60. We moved to Haverhill,MA in 63. The second son was born in 68. We separated then divorced.
Remarried in 83 and took on an extended or blended family as they say today. We now have between us 5 grandchildren. Got bored at home and did a SHORT stint at the IRS.YIKES talk about paper! From there I went to work for a direct marketing comp...Expand for more
any in Salem NH.Awesome couple owned the business and the most fun I ever had running an acctg. office. Numbers were never so much fun. Of course I was the resident sr. they were all under 35! I retired from there and we are loving being home and able to just go at the drop of a hat.
Well it's been a few years since I did this profile. After 40 years of being joined at the hip, the better part of me slipped away in the early hours of March 2nd. Roy was 94 and his body was tired. I have wonderful memories and family and neighbors that look out for me. But oh the silence! I now try to find a new norm for me.
