Rosalinda's Story
Left Spain in 61 to finish high school; came back in 63 to start college, fell in love?, got married, moved to Arkansas, then to Los Angeles, California, got divorced, was single for awhile, got married again, divorced, moved back to San Antonio, Texas in 1989, got married AGAIN, moved to Arlington, Texas in 1991 then FINALLY back to San Antonio in 2000. Had 4 daughters along the way and adopted a 5th in 1999. Am still married????????? and still working. I have an 11 year old daughter and no hope of ever not being someone's mother or wife. have not received any recognition so far. Still full of optimisim and humor; go figure! Converted to Judaism in 1986, oh happy day. Brother and sisters all gone but memories aplenty.
I always wanted to be a free spirit when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a terrible idea. As it turns out, they were right. I paid a heavy price for my way of thinking at the time but it has turned out alright. I am known for speaking my mind but I try to be diplomatic. I have few really close friends but many acquaintances and I am blessed to come from a family who finds humor in everything, even end of life.
