Rose's Story
Life
Married for 15 years and two kids, (girl and boy). Now, working in Retail for the pass 13 years. Still traveling.
School
Received my grade 12 at St. Patrick's High School. Then to Business School and many other training. All ways up-grading my education. Sister C MacNeil, was the famous teacher for her hockey games and our class trip. Mr. Mike Dorhey, in his English Lit. classes and his chaulk earser. The fire in science class that injure few students and the teacher/vice p.
Workplace
My first job: was spending 3 years in the Army. Then worked at Dah...Expand for more
ousie University in Payroll, left their. Gone to DND Dockyard, enjoyed this one very-well as a Steno. Left due to restructuring Dept. Last one hired and first one laid-off. Now, in Retail for the past 13 years. Have my days with it, but still miss DND work.
Military
Spended 3 years in the Army. Had fun in that time frame. Met lots of people. Now, married to a Navy-man, whom he left himself after serving 12 yrs. Did not go well with father, marrying a navy guy. He was Army, himself. I did not leave Nova Scotia, but travel alot. Had fun and still traveling!!
