Rosetta's Story
In 1976, I moved back to Hayward, Ca to live with my childhood friend Roberta (Bobbie Jo). I worked cutting hair and in the evening we would cruise E 14th Street for fun. There I met my husband Rob. In 1988 Rob was working as a Chef at Black Hawk in Danville and was interested in doing it himself. His Grandmother & Grandfather had retired to a small foothill town Sonora, we visited often and it seemed like the perfect place to try out his cuisine. We purchased a small closed restaurant on the other side of town and began a very long journey of self employment.
