Rowdy's Story

Life My Spouse I met my wife while I was cruising Kearney. She was having car trouble and I stopped to help. Her parents, as well as mine, still live in our home town. My Kids I have one girl and two boys. Destany was born in '87, Kyle was born in '88 and Mitchell was born in '90. Des got married to Josh Wilson 10/18/08! Josh is a welcome addition to our family. Kyle has worked as a bakery engineer for IBC since '06 and is following in his Dad's foot steps. Mitchell hopes to be a Youth Minister after college. Update - Destany married Josh Wilson 10/18/08 and made Tracy and I grandparents 11/27/09...!!! London Wilson is a dandy little boy! Kyle is currently a engineering supervisor for IBC and Mitch is in college at SBU and is Youth Minister at a local Church. We are proud of the all our kids! we lived in Springfield, Birmingham, Charlotte, back to Springfield, St. Louis, and finally to Kearney Mo (35 miles North of Kansas City) in 1998. I left IBC in August of '08 as Vice President of Engineering and became VP of Engineering for Alpha Baking. I then received an unexpected offer from George Weston Bakeries and accepted the position of VP of Manufacturing 10/13/08. My office was in Horsham, PA., then Reading, PA. and now I'm back to working out of my office in Kearney, MO. Update - Grupo Bimbo now owns the bakeries here in the USA and has over 105 bakeries world-wide. I'm currently VP of Maintenance Optimization covering all of the 34 bakeries here in the USA. I work closely with the Mexico Corp Office and travel to Mexico City a couple times per year. College - I graduated from Baker University. March 3, 2010 - Became the Chairman of the American Society of Baking. (asb.org)
