Roxanne's Story
Since graduation I have had several careers, sales rep., office manager and server to pay for school. I have certificates in Dental Assisting and Drafting, and in computers (web page design and computerized Drafting). The last job was 20 years with Pinellas County. I had various positions and promotions. I started at the Clerk of the Court, promoted to Engineering and my final job was GIS Information Coordinator. I retired in 2004, sold my large house in Seminole and moved to Crystal River with my husband. We live in his family home.
We are currently remodeling our home. It was built in 1942, some upgrades were completed after the flood in 1993 - no name storm! I'm redesigning the layout, installing wood and tile floors. mplete with brass claw feet. The vanity is made from an antique bombay chest with a custom sink and kohler faucets. The kitchen and the outside will be the last items finished. I plan on putting siding, along with the victorian scallops in the upper areas on the outside. I haven't decided yet on the kitchen. Once the work on the house is done, we will start traveling again.
We have two classic cars, 1972 Monte Carlos and 1965 Mustang, which we hope to finish restoring one day. I need to go back to work to rest! LOL
I have really enjoyed reconnecting with my friends on this site. Many of you were such good friends and I am happy to hear from you and to find out how you are doing. Donna Finnefrock and her family were so good to me, they saved my life during a low point. I thank God every day for all you wonderful people.
