Roy's Story

Life Went from Bedford High School to U S Navy where i worked in the Aviation Electronics field and retired from the Navy in 1969. Went to work for the Magnavox Company the next week and worked all over the world as a Field Service Engineer on Computer equipment and retired from Magnavox in 1987 and came back to Bedford where my wife and i opened a Starter and Alternator Rebuilding Bu...Expand for more
siness. Am still in that business. My wife Elisabeth rebuilds the Alternators and i do the Starters and Generators. Have been married to Elisabeth Hilgendorf from Germany for 53 years. Have a daughter and son, Marianne Searle and Harry Carter. Lost my dad Harry Carter in January of 2005. He was 105 years old and grew up at the Peaks of Otter. My sister was Barbara Carter Powers.
