Greetings from the hinterland. After a quasi succesful five year stint at Niagara U.(with degree) I enjoyed a decade long run at "whatever", meaning long nights, short days and here today and somewhere else tomorrow. I was lucky enough to meet somebody who would put up with my stupidity during that time and eventually married her. I relocated to Toronto Ontario where I live. Don't weep for my outpost residence, it's like Europe and NYC mixed into one. I get to watch WPIX on the digital and I see the KNICKS(sad), RANGERS,YANKEES and METS(when in) when they come. So I dont miss the little things. Yet Toronto is always moving and very progressive, everyone lives well. I take that back; beyond well. It is like the wild west, tons of gray areas to make money. It's legal but it's not, everyone makes money and walks away. It's the shidizzle. I couldn't have lucked into a better place. Mellow laws and a common sense approach to living. Great green buds too! I started working at the family business but have always found it mundane, but always had soccer to bail me out. I played for a semi pro team for six years. Our league was one of ethnic teams Italians, Croatian etc. so imagine the eyeopening experiance when one of these spectators punches you in the back during a throw in. Never saw it before, but I adjusted. Two and a half hours in a van before and after a game made me wish I was a doctor. I eventually retired from competitive playing in 2005 and took over as head coach of the very team I played for. Now I am the owner/operator, He...Expand for more
