Roy's Story
Life
Completed undergraduate studies at Syracuse University and Harpur College, in Binghamton, NY. Completed graduate studies at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. Moved to NYC to pursue "fame and fortune" which led to a 30-year career in data processing. Worked at American Airlines for 20 years, relocating to Dallas/Fort Worth in 1979. Took early retirement from AA in 1996, after serving as a Vice President in the airline's SABRE Group. Relocated to St. Petersburg, FL, where I fulfilled my goal of buying waterfront property and spent a year creating my "dream house." Then...Expand for more
boredom struck and I decided to enter the real estate business. Having been a "workaholic" most of my adult life, I never learned to enjoy hobbies or other pastimes, although I have amassed several hundred master points playing tournament bridge. Working for a major airline meant traveling around the world, frequently, so now I'm content staying home and enjoying all that Florida, and St. Petersburg, in particular, have to offer. Other activities include reading, long walks on the beach, dining out in the many fine restaurants the area has to offer, and enjoying the Florida "suncoast" lifestyle.
