Roy's Story

Life Hey Ol' Friends! I hope you all are doing well! Let me catch you up to speed. After graduating from N.C. I attended Ball State University and graduated with a degree in Corporate Financial Management (the 5 year plan). After graduation I started to work for Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and worked there for eight years. At Schwab I was a stockbroker / portfolio analyst. I also designed & programmed intranet web sites for Schwab as well. I was one of the "lucky" ones to get laid-off from Schwab in May '01. '01 was a good year.. I took a 5 month va...Expand for more
cation and planned my wonderful wedding. Since then I did a short 2 year stent at Northwestern Mutual, then I started my own financial services company which I sold back to my partners in '04. I was recruited by Allstate and Merrill Lynch in '04. I was a Merrill Lynch employee for one day (never went to work....hahah) and then decided to Accept the Allstate offer were I bought a gentleman's financial services practice who was in business for 30 years.
