Ruby's Story

Life I'm currently a stay-at-home mom of my three kids, Alex-5, Abby- 2, and Ben - 1. I'm still married to wonderful husband Dustin for 13 1/2 years. Yes the same person I married on graduation day. What can I say? I'm happy. School High school wasn't all that important to me. I just wanted to be out. I think I almost didn't graduate because I skipped so much class my senior year. Vickii and I couldn't seem to make it for our half day. Breakfast was much more appealing. The funny thing is the counselors at school didn't even talk to me about college. I quess they thought I wasn't worth it, but I ended up graduating from college with honors. College I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a business degree in accounting in 2001...Expand for more
. Workplace I've had lots of jobs that seem unrelated. In Germany I worked at sports store (I still can't keep the teams staight) and a daycare. Which explains why we didn't have kids for 8 years. In San Antonio I worked at an eyeglass place, a bath store, an I interned at 2 place doing finance and accounting work. Then I graduated from school and found out I was pregnant. I've been home ever since taking care of babies. Military I was never in the military but my husband was. We were stationed in Germany right after high school for 3 years. We then relocated to San Antonio, Texas in 1996. Dustin Separated in 2000 and we decided to stay because we loved it here. I laugh at Tammy when she tells me it's 5 degrees in Ohio and we're wearing shorts here.
