Rupert's Story
Life
Wow! Can you believe it has been 22 years since high school? I was in the Navy all of this time. I've served on the following submarines and Shore Duty Stations out of San Diego and Hawaii: USS Portsmouth (SSN-707), an instructor at SUBTRAFAC in SD, CA, USS Pogy (SSN-647), USS Salt Lake City (SSN-716), the Force Auxiliaryman at Commander Submarine Force Pacific Fleet (COMSUBPAC), the USS Chicago (SSN-721), and as a SHIPSUP for the IMA in San Diego. What a ride!
I retired from the Navy in December 2009. I live in San Diego with my wife Lara, and daughter, Isabella Maya and Lucas Xavier. They're both quite a handful!
For those of you that don't know, I got divorced from Angela back in '95. Ben is now married with a kid of his own (yes, I'm a grand parent!). Stasi is still living in Indiana.
My job keeps me pretty busy, but I really enjoy it. I work for Portsmouth Naval Shipyard doing the same thing I did when I was in the Navy.
I'm still the same old easy going guy. Always have a smile on my face and willing to listen to anything you have to say.

me up. I'll be in the book!
I'll talk to you soon.

School
Some of the funnest times in my life. We partied so much! Everyone I met and got to know back then will always be my friend!
Write me sometime if you ever want to catch up!
College
Never went to school formally, but I did partake in a few parties with the Herndon Boys at Rutgers! Go Scarlet Knights! Also had lots-o-fun at Berkeley! Go Bears!
Workplace
Working in Cape May always meant working in a restauraunt, store, or on the beach. Fotunately, I got to work at Laura's Fudge. We had such a blast there! Our window to the world on the boardwalk! Meeting summer girls, and partying with the bosses!
After Cape May, came the Navy. It's been interesting! I've made so many great friends and experienced so many different things. Now I'm retired from the Navy and working for the man (like I ever stopped)!
Hey Grace and Ted, do you want to sell me the store?
Military
Love all the people I've met and worked with. You've all taught me something in one way or another. I've definitely made lifelong friendships. Hope to hear from you soon.
