Rush's Story
Life
After 27 years in Army bands, I retired near Tacoma, WA. I spent 17 years in Germany and was very involved with civilian community bands over there. I also still play or conduct three or four times a week and still enjoy making music.
I am divorced and live with a girl that I met in a band rehearsal (Surprise!). She still works and I just have fun! If any of you get to the Seattle area, give me a call (253) 582-2783 and share the fun!!

In 25 years of Army Music, I was able to help entertain both troops and civilian audiences in both the USA and Europe. I learned a second language (German) and experienced many things, as an entertainer, that the average soldier perhaps missed. I would gladly do it all over again without hesitation. I played for Presidents Kennedy and Nixon. I served in NC, KY, and WA, where I am now retired, and Fulda, Fuerth, Ansbach, and Bad Kreuznach, Germany.
