Russ's Story
My parents moved my brother, Craig, a later Highland SS grad and myself to Dundas, ON in 1966 (OMG...that's 50+ years ago) from Mississauga (Streetsville), ON and I'm still here) with no reason to leave. I was best-described as a 'jock' - playing and excelling in football, track & field and gymnastics. While at Dundas District High School (DDHS), I met Linda Eaton and married this lovely lady. ge, Hamilton, ON then the Royal Institute of Public Health & Hygiene, London, England. For almost 30 years, I worked locally in laboratory medicine (I'm now retired) in the hospital/university setting. I dabbled in politics for 32 years serving as an MP in Canada's 38th Parliament and as a Town Councillor in Dundas, a Hamilton-Wentworth Regional Councillor and most recently as a Ward Councillor in the City of Hamilton representing the Community of Dundas. In Dec 2014, I voluntarily retired from public life. Retirement...there's no life like it!
