Life After high school in Linden, N.J., I went to college and graduate school in North Carolina and then enlisted in the Navy. After the Navy I returned to N.C. My last visit to "Jersey" was in 1975. My parents retired, left Linden, and moved to live near my family and me. It doesn't look like I will visit Linden again. I retired as a central office administrator with a public school district, but I continued as a contracted service employee doing the same job I did before retirement. I was "offered a deal I could not refuse." After the contracted service employment in August,'03, I began teaching history as an adjunct instructor at a local community college in January,'04.
