Russell's Story
School
High school was definitely different. From Coach Hauck to Mr. Bronson. The 80's weren't as great as they seemed but no better place for us to be.
Mr. Bronson probably had the biggest impact on me as I was going through the teenage years. He was a distinguished gentlemen of yesteryear but was able to keep up with the kids.
The trips to Victoria were always great. Many thought I was an angel. So, they didn't worry about the roommates. Little did they know...Lulu, Theresa, Jamie and Reggie and the gang...
I wouldn't change a thing about my experience in high school.
Workplace
I starting working at the Burien McDonald's. Pickle juice wasn't just pickle juice. Had enough of coming home smelling like a burger and as greasy as a fry.

d my niche in accounting. My first office job was as a file clerk with a metals company. By the time I left there I was coordinating the ordering of material to fabrication.
Had enough of that and moved to Georgia and wondered the southern states for seven years. I was able to get a lot of retail and management experience. Having enough, my wife and I moved back to Seattle, where we had hoped to stay for awhile.
I eventually was hired by Turner Construction as a project accountant. With the collapse of the economy in 2002, I was given a relocation opportunity with them. Since, we've been in Miami and most recently relocated to the DC area. It's great working for a company that is recognized globally and offers a plethora of opportunities.
However, having an updated resume and open to options is always a smart choice.
