Life
"Life begins when the children leave home and the dog dies." quote from a Jewish Rabbi. He may be right. We enjoyed our girls immensely while they were living with us. Now we enjoy visiting them in their own homes (on the West side of the state). And the dog is gone too, so we are foot loose and fancy free. Jim is retired, but I am still working as a school nurse for the Kennewick...Expand for more
school district. However, the 2 months of summer break are VERY nice to look forward to.
Workplace
I have worked in nursing for 40 years. That is scarey!!! Sometimes I wish I had gone into a field of the arts, but maybe I would be a starving artist. I have never been without a job in nursing, and have had the jobs come looking for me at least 3 times. I'm still very ready to retire!
