Ruth's Story
I attended Rocky Mountain College in Billings for a couple of years, then spent 2 more years in the US Army, trained as an OR Tech. Ended up married, and after discharge, Bill and I moved to Hamilton where our 2 children were born in 1970 and 1972.
Have had a interesting work life. After spending about 6 years as an OR Tech in civilian life, we moved to Clarksville, MO (no hospital), so I became a Maintenance Mechanic and a Welder in a cement plant. We moved to Colorado, and I ended up ...Expand for more
cooking in a BBQ restaurant. A few years later we returned to Darby, and 16 years ago I began work at Trapper Creek Job Corps. I facilitatee the orientation of new students - kept me on my toes to be with young people every day. In 2006 I became a shift supervisor in the dorms, and retired in December 2008.
Bill and I square dance, and are active in the Foursquare Church here in Darby. Each of our children has 4 children.
Because so many of us live in Darby, I see classmates frequently.
