Ruth's Story
In brief:
I attended Lakeshore Teachers' College after graduating and taught school in Brampton for a year. In 1967 I married Carl Teakle and we moved to Niagara Falls where I taught school til I retired in 2001. While teaching, I attended Brock University part-time and completed a B.A. with distinction, majoring in Philosophy and Psychology.
We have 3 children and 11 grandchildren and, over the years, have fostered 131 children.

h enjoying our retirement jobs: Carl is at Crossroads Communication Television in Burlington and I am a Pastor at Lakemount Worship Centre in Grimsby. We love to travel and I spend some time each year in the schools in the Caribbean introducing new curriculum and training teachers.
Most recently I have completed some Biblical Training courses with Masters College and Global University as well as a specialist certification in Anger Management.
