Ruth's Story
I am a widow living in Tulsa, Ok, attending OU as a senior, few more classes to finish in Human Relations.
I have 2 boys, 2 girls. Both girls have their Masters from OU in Human Relations and eldest son graduated from University of Las Vegas Nevada in theater. Youngest son is finishing up college. Oldest daughter is married to a marathon runner from Morocco, and no grandchildren so far. Life is good, enjoy traveling abroad to England, Portugal, Spain, Hong Kong, Thailand and lived one month in Pakistan in 2003. I am constantly traveling other places. Enjoy my home, gardening, flowers and Koi pond. I volunteer for Volunteers of America the past 5 years and also volunteer for Tarc of Tulsa making home visits to disabled consumers and checking on their welfare and well being.
I was employed with St.Johns Medical Center 15 years, Saint Francis Hospital 5 years and retired 6 years ago with Springer Clinic or now as Warren Clinic after 13 years. I have always worked in the medical field from age 19, this was my passion.
I belong the the National Quilting Association, Eastern Oklahoma Quilting Association and love quilting with my friends and traveling to quilting shows around United States.
