Ruth's Story

Life I have been married to Chris since 1998 and we have 3 kids, Kennedy 7, born in Hawaii, Kaylee 4, born in Germany and Noah 17mths, born in Washington State. Chris is currently in his 2nd deployment to Iraq and the army moved me home to Lockport while he is gone. Please keep him in your thoughts while he is deployed. School I really was too quiet in school. I had my friends who knew me but I didn't open up much to thise whom I didn't know well. I liked school but didn't love it, I did ok in the grade department. I had a few teachers that inspired me and i had a few that didn't like me to much. If i could go back would I? That is a hard thing to answer, i love my life now and wouldnt want to change that, but i would change the shyness I had in school. That might have made things a bit more enjoyable for me. High, nothing exciting there. I got married a few months after NCCC and moved to Texas. I would like to go back to school and finish my degree. Maybe when Noah is a bit older. Workplace I am a stay at home mom. I love it and wouldn't want it anyother way. I will be ready to work outside the home when i finish school. I thank Chris for giving me the choice to stay at home. I know things would be easier if i had income but to watch my kids grow up is worth it all. Military I am a military wife, and enjoy the military life we have. I will admit i didn't always like it. The moving is nice, so far the friends we would like to keep in touch with we do. I am sure it may get harder for the kids as they grow up, but i am hoping they will adjust and be very open to the fact that they will have a chance to see alot that normally they wouldnt be able to.
