Ruth's Story
My husband and I now live in the San Diego area. Our five children are all grown up now and we also have seven grandchildren with more to come. I grew up in a large family and I think having a large family is great.
I have a Pomerainian dog who follows me wherevever I go. I also have a cat who I adopted in 1995 when we were still living in Glen Ellyn, IL.
Because of Chicago's terrible weather we decided to move to southern CA where the weather is great almost every day. My only regret is that we were not able to move here when our children were still very young.

my B.A. from UIC and then a month later my husband and I got married. Shortly after that I went back to school at Northwestern U so that I would be able to work in the medical field. If I could relive a part of my life over again it would be my college years when I should have gone directly into the medical field, preferably working in emergency rooms. I much prefer working in a field where one never knows what to expect for that night.
Life is great now especially because we live only four blocks from the ocean and because San Diego has the best weather in our country.
