Ruth Craig:  

School 7th-10th grade, went to Harding High School. Name was Ruth Ault. I was in band with Mr. Gutenberg. Best friends were Carla Roper and Linda Beverly. My brother, 2 years older than me, was John Ault. Also attended Cleveland High School, Cleveland, Oklahoma and DeSoto, Kansas. Grade schools: Bokoshe, Okla., Athens, Tenn., Oak Ridge, Tenn., Horace Mann, OKC, Ok. Graduated fromLawrence High School, Lawrence, Kansas.I no longer have my 1965 yearbook, but remember certain names, and a lot of faces. College went to Kansas University. Attended Northeastern State University, then taught first grade in eastern Oklahoma. Workplace after teaching first grade in eastern Oklahoma, became Petroleum Landman with Gulf Oil Company, then after oil boom worked as Group Sales Coordinator for Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department at Fountain Resort and Quartz Mountain, where I met Larry McMurtry who wrote "Lonesome Dove" and I spent some time with Jane Alexander, the actress. Moved to San Diego and worked in Newspaper Graphics Advertising. I have been working the past 15 years as a Hospital Staffing Supervisor for hospitals in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernadino and San Diego counties. Military I see Marines every day and get excited when our Navy destroyers return home to San Diego.
