Ruth's Story
Life
I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in nursing in 1979. I got married, had 2 children (Lindsey, now 21 and Brent, now 17). I worked as a labor and delivery nurse for 4 years then moved on to outpatient surgery. f Oklahoma State Medical Association, which makes me the first lady! We now just have Brent at home. But we have gained 3 grandchildren, 2 boys - in Norman and a grandaughter in Austin, TX. We love traveling and working in our yard. We love to landscape and redesign the 2 acres that we live on. I do a fair amount of volunteer work with a couple of different organizations in Norman and Oklahoma City. I really try to stay available for my two grandsons though!
