Iwas in the USAF from July 61 to July 65. I was at Keesler AFB to learn about radar and the 753rd about a year later to work and operate the FPS 35 and for a little while the FPS 26. After about a year or so I was sent to DMCC (Data Maintenance Coordination Center) for a 90 day rotation that lasted another year of two. tes, and knew some great people at the site and Sault Ste. Marie. I guess the "Soo" and the 753 became my home away from home. It was a good experience, that I enjoyed (especially the people I met, the equipment I worked around, and places I visited), but would probably never want to repeat (I didn't like the thought that I could be sent anywhere in the world with no choice and little notice).
