Ruthe's Story
I currently live in Aloha, a western suburb of Portland, Oregon. Bob, my husband, has been retired for a number of years, I retired from Northwest Permanente in February 2009.
My youngest son lives about 5 miles away with his wife and 3 children (6,9,14). My older son was in an auto accident in 1992. My 3 step daughters also live close with their children. Ther are a total of 14 grandchildren (ages 5 to 24). We are very luck...Expand for more
y to have all of them close and be able to spend lots of time with them.
Since I retired, we have been been busy with remodeling projects, interspersed with trips to Cabo San Lucas and Las Vegas. Now that the projects are nearly done, it will be time to start playing more.
I work part time for the Department of Labor as a Case Manager, enough to keep me current with nursing, but not enough to interfere with other activities.
