Ryan's Story

School School was fun for the most part I suppose. I just wish I had been more outgoing than I am now. I was very shy when it came to some of the girls in our high school class and if not for that maybe I would have asked some of them out. But I wouldn't change anything because I believe in fate and because of fate, I am today where I was probably meant to be. College I actually didn't graduate from college yet. I left SLU after a few months to join the Navy. Now I am taking Distance Education through Strayer University. Workplace I worked in Kosovo for more than 1 year with Mantech. I left in 2002 to work for TAMSCO in Basra, Iraq. Can't say that was too much fun with the bombings and shootings but it was worth the ex...Expand for more
perience. I then left to work for General Dynamics in Qatar. We were part of the ISG (Iraq Survey Group) which was responsible for finding the WMD's in Iraq. I actually did computer support. I then got reassigned to work here in Japan which allowed me to bring my family with me. I will be here until 2008 unless something better comes along. Military What can I say about my time in the military. Well between the Air Force and Navy I met a lot of people and traveled to different places. I learned some valuable job skills in the Navy which have helped me get where I am today. I wouldn't take back anything if I had to do it all over again. On the other hand, getting out of the military in 2001 was the best thing I have ever done.
