Ryan's Story
In 2011, I founded, incorporated, and now preside over, Toronto's most enigmatic, exclusive and influential private members clubs - Lux & Lumen (luxnlumen.com). Lux & Lumen was incorporated on the 9th of October, 2011 (09-10-11), and has continued to evolve and expand into the lucrative and streamlined business it is today.
Prior to Lux & Lumen, I had been involved in many different tiers of the Canadian public sector in a variety of capacities. I have over eight (8+) years of experience throughout the following bureaucratic tiers: 5 years in the Federal Government (HRSDC: Employment Equity) as a Senior Analyst, and 3+ years in an agency of the Provincial Government (Health Quality Ontario) as a Program Coordinator for the Research and Health Systems Performance branch.
I sit on the Strategic Fundraising Council for the High Park Nature Centre Board of Directors, and act as a Brand Ambassador for both UBER and CuffWear. In 2013, I took on the role of In...Expand for more
ternational Broker & Referring Agent for the global luxury property conglomerate, Wolf Wörster Associates - with focus on properties in Belize and Argentina. As 2013 came to a close, I began work as an Executive Producer for a major feature film to be shot in late 2014.
In 2014 I became the Primary Booking Agent for Bertrand Van Kleef (International DJ and music producer) - organizing, booking and leading his 2014 North American Tour through Miami, Vegas, LA, NYC, and Toronto.
On the education front, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa in 2010 with a Joint Honours Bachelor Degree in Political Science and Philosophy. I founded and led the University of Ottawa Investment Association, the only official (University sanctioned) mufti-disciplinary academic club for group investments. I also participated in many other extracurricular academic programs; resulting in my 'Ambassador of Volunteerism' status conferred by the University in 2010.
