Ryan's Story
Life
I have a Master's degree in History. I've been married for 8 years. My wife, Amy, and I have a 4 year old son, a 22 month old daughter, and another daughter due in October.
We live in Denver now. I am working in the IT field and am working on publishing some articles in theology and history.
School
If I could do it over, perhaps I would have actually done some homework and tried a little. I found later that I enjoy school, especially graduate school.
The only HS folks I keep in touch with are Ken Nevarez, Jim Wiese, and Christine Decarli. That's it.
College
I went to Wheaton College for one year.
wow. Cameron, Steve, Paul Sue, Kornel Chang, studying all night for the western civ exam, the Wheaton Revival. It was a busy and tough year.

red to San Jose Christian College (now William Jessup University) where I met my wife and best-best friend, Amy, as well as my best friend, Tony.
I then went to graduate school at San Jose State University where I completed a MA in History.
Workplace
Running the TV station at Wheaton, Ill. & doing news on the radio. SuperCrown books in Sunnyvale. Teaching Computers professionally. Academic Affairs & teaching computers at SJCC. Stanford Student Records, Systems Analysis, and webmaster.
Following God in my life has led me on an unexpected but excellent path. I never would have pictured myself at the heart of a major academic institution, nor preparing for academic work in history.
Military
Academic expertise in military history is as close as I come to this.
