Life
I have changed my lifestyle from the way it was in high school for those of you who knew me. I have lost over 60 pounds since October of 2000. I value health and quality of life more than I did in high school. So that is how my life is these days. I live and work in the Seattle area now. Life is pretty good these days.
College
During college I drifted a bit. I stayed in the College of Engineering and department of computer science longer than I sould have. I just fell into a place where I didn't enjoy what I was doing an...Expand for more
ymore. I fell in love with writing and that whole arena of expressionistic existence. If I could start over again in college I would have been more interdisciplinary in my approach to my studies. Even if you don't directly apply your degree to your life's work I feel that higher education is an irreplaceable experience of life. You encounter people and intellectual oppurtunites that you never would otherwise. So, relish those opportunties that were affored to you, even if they didn't yield what you thought they would from the outset.
