Ryan's Story
Life
I hung out with the USMC JROTC crowd, and was on the rifle drill team. I rode my bike to school because I didn't have my driver license until I graduated. I went to boot camp right after graduating, and joined the US Marines.
And I don't regret it. Semper Fi.
For a while I lived in the mountains near Lake Tahoe home, but then my reserve unit got called up to active duty in the Marines. Uncle Sam needed us to save the world again. I used to compete in civilian rifle matches near Sacramento, and I'd say photography is now my major love.

I've owned), but this one's a Grand Cherokee Limited with the V-8 (woohoo!), so I'm really not saving any gas money.
I guess you could ask me how I feel about the war on terrorism, having lost a good friend and former classmate in Sergeant Adam Estep (PHS 99), but it's not polite to discuss politics, now is it?
Now I live in San Jose again, still trying to take over the world.
Military
Well. I gotta tell ya, the Marine Corps is something that's not for everyone, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Can't say Iraq was all that fun, but Kuwait was actually not too bad. Where to next?
