Sally's Story

Life My Spouse: I met my husband, Paul, when I was hired to work as his assistant in the laboratory at the Great A&P Tea Company in Horseheads, NY. It was only to be a temporary position, but we married, moved to Ohio after the A&P closed and remained together for 28 years until he passed away this summer. Family: Three beautiful girls. Michelle is a teacher and writer in MA. She had her first book published in 2004. Titled "Baby Blue". Her second book, "Itch" came out in the spring of '08. These are young adults books and more are in the works. Pam is married and the mother of two beautiful and talented girls.... Kim, our youngest, surprised us and up and joined the Army in 2001. Update - Kim is out of the service now and got married in Jan. 2004. They now have a "full of energy" little boy (Hunter)and an adoreable little girl, (Dakota.) My Job: I have been a Realtor in Ohio for 25 years and still enjoy the fun of helping peop...Expand for more
le find their special home. I am sorry for the folks who bought more than they should have and are going through the process of possibly losing their home. In our time, our parents told us to save for a home and not buy more than we could afford. The X Generation felt they had to have the best and have it now!! So sad. School: Wish I could say that I loved High School, but I didn't. Too many clicks and I just wasn't a "clicky" person. I was rather quiet in school but I did enjoy the after school sodas at Chuck and Junkers with my friends. I seldom went to social functions and was a bit of a loner. Guess that makes me sound a little nerdy but, let me tell you, college was all together different. There I gave my all and blossomed accademically and socially. Sometimes we just have to wait for the majic to happen. Tonight is Election Night 2008. I can't stand listening. I'd rather just wait till morning and find out if my guy lost.

I dropped my cat, Megan, (Meggie) off at the vets this morning for her usual seasonal removal of big ole hair knots which really get to bothering her. She is a long haired cat. Here is her picture before she gets the treat

Taking advantage of the mid 70's temps while they last. Sixteen of us went canoeing. Next time I think I'll try the kyak...no one wanted to do that cause you get a little wet.
